The Management of Uganda Electricity Distribution Uganda Limited (UEDCL) would like to inform its esteemed customers across the business that effective today 24 November 2022, all payments related to electricity and new connections are supposed to be paid through our digital UEDCL e-collection platform/s available at the nearest DFCU & Stanbic Banks or on Mobile money platforms (Airtel & MTN).
For the new customers, you will only be required to present a customer reference number sent to you by UEDCL whereas postpaid customers will present their billing account/s number/s to the nearest bank to make any payment/s.
Note: UEDCL advises ALL customers not to pay any monies outside these platforms to avoid any unnecessary inconveniences and delays that may accrue as a result of a customer/s using a contrary payment procedure.
