STEP BY STEP 

1. Acquire a Digital Wiring Certificate number from the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) Certified Wireman (era.go.ug)

2. Visit the Self-Help Portal uedcl.co.ug .

3. Click on New Connection.

4. Fill in the application form, attach the required documents and submit the application. A tracking number and login credentials will be sent to your phone number or email.

5. Proceed to Pay Inspection fees against the Work request number provided. (E1020xxxxx).

6. Pay the connection fees against the Work Request Number provided (E1020xxxxx)

All payments must be made through UEDCL payment channels.

NEW CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

1. Copy of National ID

2. Digital Wiring Certificate

3. Wayleave permission from land owners through which the line will pass (if applicable)

4. Company Seal & Certificate of incorporation (for companies)

5. Trading licence for sole proprietorships.

6.Premise Sketch map.
