This indirectly supports the sustainable energy development in Uganda.
Therefore, the UEDCL pole treatment plant is a stakeholder in the national vision of electricity for all by 2035 and specifically the rural electrification extensions programs in various parts of the country. The plant has supplied treated poles for rural electrification to numerous project contractors. This has also contributed to the national prerequisite to achieve and maintain a vibrant energy sector that will support the anticipated national economic growth in Uganda.
